How Alma Hybrid™ Works
Alma Hybrid™ is the first and only skin treatment that includes a highly effective combination of two core energies: an ablative CO2 laser for highly precise focused or fractional laser treatments, and a non-ablative 1570nm laser for stimulating collagen synthesis without damaging the outer layer.
The innovative platform allows for a high level of control with numerous options, especially when compared to traditional fractional laser treatments. Basically, the level of personalization available with Alma Hybrid™ is unmatched. The HyGridTM mode allows a specific ablative to non-ablative ratio to be set so that each treatment can be completely tailored to the patient.
Each type of laser wavelength can be applied on its own or in combination with others to quickly and easily treat many types of skin irregularities. Alma Hybrid™ works best for patients who want to treat fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, acne scars, and other tone and texture irregularities. Patients with most skin types and any skin tones would be good candidates for this laser resurfacing treatment.
Alma Hybrid™ is designed to provide the best possible results while, at the same time, reducing the length of recovery. There is very little downtime needed for most patients, but some minor, temporary side effects such as redness, dryness, and peeling may occur. To maximize results, patients may decide to have multiple treatment sessions. Once the new skin has been rebuilt over the following weeks and months, it will look and feel smoother and tighter.
