Meet Kimmy Vu, R.N., Our New Aesthetic Nurse Injector

We are extremely pleased to welcome Kimmy Vu to Iteld Plastic Surgery. She joins us as an aesthetic nurse injector, and she’s bound to become your go-to person for many of the aesthetic services we offer. She will also provide clinical nursing services so you may see her around the office helping Dr. Iteld with surgical procedures, or after your surgery for post-op support.
Kimmy’s background
Kimmy attended Arizona State University where she received her Bachelor of Science in nursing. After graduation, she worked at an Arizona Level I trauma hospital — first as a floor nurse, and then transferred to trauma ICU. As a result of her experiences in trauma, she began to truly respect and find a passion for the body’s mechanisms of healing and repair. In 2018, she moved to Chicago and joined the staff at the 900 N. Michigan Surgery Center. In less than a year, she became the charge nurse of the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), followed by a series of leadership roles. There, she worked with many plastic surgeons in a variety of procedures, including our own Dr. Iteld.

A talented aesthetic nurse injector, Kimmy will be providing a wide range of nonsurgical treatments, including:
- Aesthetic injectables — neuromodulators including Botox and Daxxify, plus the full array of dermal fillers
- Energy services — laser treatments including ablative or nonablative, IPL, and AlmaHybrid
- Skin tightening — Morpheus8, as well as Microneedling with and without PRP or PRF
