You’re never too young to fill in wrinkles, fine lines and deep creases while dramatically improving other imperfections like scars. But, many patients find the idea of having plastic surgery intimidating, or they think they are just too young. Fortunately, there are other ways to deal with these minor problems without going under the knife.
Neuromuscular Toxins
Botox® is FDA-approved for cosmetic use:
- safe and an effective treatment for the temporary smoothing of furrows between the brows, crow’s feet, and forehead lines
- smooths away wrinkles by relaxing the underlying muscles that create them
- works directly where placed, allowing us to alter facial shape in artistically pleasing ways
Soft Tissue Fillers
Hyaluronic Acid dermal fillers use non-animal derived Hyaluronic Acid. These are proven to give long-lasting correction of moderate-to-severe facial wrinkles. We also use hyaluronic acid for lip augmentation. Because Hyaluronic Acid occurs naturally in the body, it dissolves naturally with time. You won’t need allergy testing before treatment, so there is no waiting to do this!
We are pleased to offer Restylane® | Juvéderm® | Voluma® | Sculptra®
Using these fillers, we can:
- smooth out fine lines on the surface of your skin
- fill out deep lines
- augment soft tissues (such as the lips)
- effectively augment facial bone structure
These fillers are placed by an injection in specific locations to achieve natural looking results.
Correcting Facial Symmetry with Dermal Fillers
For noticeable minor asymmetry—especially around the lips and mouth—consider injectable dermal fillers as an option for you. These can plump up the areas and give your face symmetry. Options here include Juvederm®, Restaylane® and, in some cases, we may have the option to use your own fat and inject it in without using a filler. Not a permanent solution, just like other injectable or filler treatments, you’ll need to return for retreatment every few months to a year.
