You’ve made an important decision to have a procedure. Congratulations! Now, we would like to point out four things to keep in mind as you’re getting ready for plastic surgery:
- Prepare: When you came to our office, we went over your procedure with you, what you can expect, what medications to stop taking, potential risks, as well as we discussed other important information. Please review your pre-surgery package. If you have any questions about your procedure, now is the time to ask.
- Plan for Recovery: Timing is an important component for your procedure. You don’t want to rush your recovery. So, please make sure you’ve scheduled your surgery when you have adequate time off from work and other responsibilities so you can recover.
- Payment: Most plastic surgery is not covered by insurance. You’ll need to make sure it is something that is within your financial means to handle the cost. We do have financing available, if you desire. Click here to see several options. These are independent companies that provide loans for many of the procedures we perform. Please note that we are not endorsing one provider over another.
- Perception: Having realistic expectations go a long way to patients’ happiness with their surgical outcomes. During all your interactions with us, we’ve talked about what you can expect.
We strongly recommend that if what we’ve discussed does not meet what you want, you should re-evaluate your decision to have surgery.
If what we’ve discussed meets your goals, we look forward to helping you see the new you!
