When you were younger, did people tell you that you have beautiful eyes? But, now they seem small; they are lost in a sea of skin. You’ve been doing injectables for a while and that’s helped. But, sometimes, injectables just aren’t enough. When that’s the case, it’s time to consider Blepharoplasty or a combination of both.
Blepharoplasty
Saggy, Droopy eyelids make you look old and tired. They make your eyes look smaller and less animated. Blepharoplasty—eyelid surgery—improves the appearance of the upper eyelids, lower eyelids, or both.
- Upper Eyelid Surgery involves tightening the loose or sagging skin that creates folds or disturbs the natural contour of the upper eyelid and remove excess fatty deposits that appear as puffiness in the upper lids.
- Lower Eyelid Surgery removes or repositions the fat pockets and tightens the skin and muscle to give a smoother, refreshed appearance.
Injectable Fillers
Up until recently, surgery was the only way to improve the appearance of the lower eyelids. With the introduction and expansion of “off-the-shelf” fillers, there is another tool available. Ultimately, each patient is different, but in most cases, a very nice result can be obtained with either technique.
A combination
Sometimes, the best way to achieve the look you want is for me to use a combination of surgical and nonsurgical techniques. No cookie cutter solution; instead, together you and I create a plan that meets your particular needs and wants.
My goal
Restore a rejuvenated appearance to the surrounding area of your eyes, making you look more rested and alert. Eyelid surgery refreshes the face without changing it. As always, I work very hard so that my patients’ outside appearance match how they feel on the inside, to be the physical expression of their inner self.
